- Choose to save the file on your hard disk.
- Choose any folder in which to save the file, but don't change the file name – aftpro-setup.exe – or the installer may not work.
- After download is complete open the folder in which you saved the file. The saved file should be 1,037,028 bytes long. (To know the exact size of a file, right-click on it and choose "Properties" from the pop-up menu) If the file size doesn't match, delete the file and download it again.
- If any version of AFT is running, shut it down before installing the new AFT
- Double-click on the downloaded file to run the installer.
- Make a backup copy of the downloaded file.
Future software upgrades When AFT is running open the ABOUT page and click on Check for upgrades. That will send you to a web page which will tell you when upgrades are available and how to get them. You can also check for upgrades from this page:

If you have any trouble installing these files, the first thing to do is to check that the size of the files you saved is exactly the same as written above.
